Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Actuarial Science and Insurance.Robert Cowell completed a PhD in Theoretical Physics in 1981 at Essex University. He research has covered a number of diverse areas, but since 1989 his research has focussed on the theory of Bayesian networks and their applications.
